The event, scheduled from April 18 – 20, 2024 will take place at the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis. The new pickup series includes six Pro Line models with an array of Fire and EMS customizations as well as the company’s signature secure storage solutions. Each unit sits atop a low-profile TruckGlide™ sliding platform known for its full extension ability and low deck height. The cargo platform, currently rated for 1,500 lbs. recently underwent stress testing and withstood up to 2,200 lbs. for standard beds and 3,200 lbs. for full-size trucks.
The Pro Line sliding command center showcased at FDIC is in an active-duty pickup truck on loan from Portage Fire Department in Portage, Ind. The model, PL3, features a gear cabinet complete with an SCBA bracket, sliding tray and a dry erase board on the door. Additionally, the unit is equipped with a sliding table, a flip-up dry erase board for on-site planning and delegation, TruckVault secure storage drawer, and a flat cargo space for large equipment. The entire unit is mounted on a low-profile TruckGlide sliding cargo deck ensuring accessibility from 3 sides.
